The TU20 Executive Team is made up of bright talented students, from Grade 9 to University, all working together to create an amazing environment for the Halton Tech Community. From a Marketing Team to a Development Team, those responsible for ensuring Tech Under Twenty runs smoothly, all put forth their best effort to help build our technology community.

Shrena Sribalan

Team Lead

Shrena Sribalan is a motivated 16-year-old determined to empower the youth of the future. She plans to do this by planning events for the Town of Milton, using technology and business with Tech Under Twenty, giving young people information to disrupt the status quo with the OnCanadaProject, teaching children piano at OCOM and bringing child hunger awareness with Mary’s Meals. Currently, Shrena attends Craig Kielburger Secondary School in Milton, Ontario for the I.B. program. When she’s not trying to bring change, Shrena pursues her various passions in the arts, entrepreneurship, STEM fields and social justice issues. Through these passions, Shrena has learned and continues to learn the piano and Bharatanatyam (an Indian classical dance form), which she has been learning for the past 12 years. She also has established various ventures (Yougen, Forus, Ikigai) that better her community by connecting students to small business, their careers and credible information.

Vidu Widyalankara

Team Co-Lead

Vidu is a grade 10 student at Craig Kielburger Secondary School and is currently enrolled in the IB program. He is passionate about computer science, electrical engineering, and the environment. He enjoys competing in hackathons and science fairs and works part time teaching youth robotics and programming. In his down time, he enjoys cycling, reading, and caring for his houseplants. Finally, he’s excited about his first year of being a TU20 Co-Lead and all the lessons he can learn! 🙂

Jacob Yan

Partnerships Team

Jacob is a Grade 12 student at White Oaks Secondary School. He is passionate about the fields of computer science, finance, and mathematics, leading him to be involved in numerous extracurriculars in his school and the community. In his spare time, he enjoys doing math problems, reading books, and eating delicious foods. Through TU20, Jacob hopes to help students learn more about the tech industry and inspire students to find a passion in finance or technology.

Mihir Maringanti is a determined grade 11 IB student at Craig Kielburger Secondary School who is passionate about using leadership and technology to create change. He is a Partnership Exec at Tech Under Twenty and in school he is on the robotics team, DECA member, and a tutor. He enjoys playing badminton, reading, and learning languages, which help him become a better person through developing focus and concentration.

Frank is a high schooler in the IB program who is trying to grow as both a student and a citizen of Canada. He has learned at the Tiger Jeet Singh elementary school for over 8 years, and is now attending Craig Kielburger high school for another 4 years, up until 2025. He enjoys playing piano and badminton, and loves to try out new learning opportunites whenever he can.

Jeffrey Wong

Events Team

Jeffrey is an aspiring software engineer and currently a grade 12 student at Bur Oak Secondary School. He likes playing different instruments, sports, and solving complex math problems whenever he has free time. Being passionate about bringing involvement and inspiring others, Jeffrey always tries to take the initiative to do what he can for the community. You can often find him volunteering for non-profits, institutions, the city or organizing events.

Daniel Sun

Daniel is a grade 11 IB student at White Oaks Secondary School. He enjoys doing marketing at Tech Under Twenty as he’s able to not only design visually appealing marketing graphics and work on expanding marketing reach, but also collaborate with creative and passionate members within the TU20 community. In his free time, you could probably find him spending hours perfecting an art piece, listening to music, biking, or talking with friends!

Ramiz Bangash is a student at Dr. Frank J Hayden Secondary School who is passionate about technology. He enjoys biking, photography, videography, and video games. He has been passionate about technology for years, loves to help people, and participate in discussions, and speaking to his peers about things he is passionate about.

Ahmed is in grade 10, going to Iroquois Ridge High School. He is a part of the Football team, countless clubs, and the MSA Exec Team. He likes music, computers and robotics as a whole, video games, watching tv, and playing Guitar.

 

Anahat Chhatwal

Anahat is a driven and passionated grade 10 student at Bur Oak Secondary School. She is passionate about business, technology, entrepreneurship and social justice. In the past, she was the Head of Affairs for the York Region chapter of an organization called STEM Fellowship. Additionally, Anahat has been playing basketball since she was 8 years old and currently plays U-16 rep basketball. She does traditional and digital art and hopes to soon start a business related to it. She loves exploring topics in the STEAM field such as coding, arts, emerging technologies, etc. She takes part in various extracurriculars such as Global Action Council, DECA, Assistant Punjabi Teacher, and many more. She has a thirst for knowledge and loves learning new things!

Robyn Wong is a smart, hard working student, who especially values her school grades. This year, she entered her Freshmen year (9th grade) at T.A Blakelock in Oakville, Ontario. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, watching the Montreal Canadiens, reading rom-coms, spending time with her friends and family and being involved in student politics. This year, Robyn is passionate towards continuing to manage her time wisely, as well as achieve high final marks, and hopes to start getting involved in her school community by being a grade nine representative on the Student Council and attending school sport tournaments.

She is a STEM enthusiast and is passionate about joining new clubs involving business, technology, science, and art.
