The TU20 Executive Team is made up of bright talented students, from Grade 9 to University, all working together to create an amazing environment for the Halton Tech Community. From a Marketing Team to a Development Team, those responsible for ensuring Tech Under Twenty runs smoothly, all put forth their best effort to help build our technology community.

Angela Xiang

Team Lead

Angela Xiang is a first-year student at the University of Toronto in the Mathematical and Physical Sciences stream. She has been a member of TechUnderTwenty since July 2018 and is passionate about bringing people together to solve the world’s problems. When she’s not attending meetings or solving math/physics problems, you can probably find her knitting with her cats or baking copious amounts of sweets.

Denys is a Cloud Architect and Data Engineer at RBC. He graduated from U of T with a computer science degree and previously was the TU20 Team Lead.

Vinuthna Vemireddy

Vinuthna is a first year Business student at Western University. In high-school she was involved in public speaking, volunteering and various business related initiatives. She loves trying new things (activities, cuisines, recreation, etc) and in university she hopes to further diversify her interests. 

Xander Coles

Partnerships Team

Xander is a grade 12 student at Iroquois Ridge High school. He is involved in a number of interesting extracurriculars, including Deca, FRC, Band, and Mini MBA. Xander is deeply passionate about business, entrepreneurship, and data. He also participates in an academic community for a venture capital firm, Shadow Ventures, and he is the founder of Level Up Business, a business organization that strives to provide high schoolers with business insights and data-driven projects. He strives to make an impact on the world through his start-up ventures and innovative nature. In his free time when he is not focused on his business endeavors, he writes music, plays the tuba, and game tests.

Khrish Handa

Khrish is in his first year of University, attending the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University. His passion for business and innovation has inspired him to lead numerous organizations including DECA, Port Credit Leadership Council, and many more. With this, Khrish is also a foodie, constantly trying out new cuisines and cooking techniques such as molecular gastronomy. With TU20, Khrish hopes to inspire youth to pursue a passion for business and technology.

Samhith is a first year student at Queen’s University attending ECEi. He is involved in various entrepreneurship and AI organizations, and leads the development of TU20 chapter experiences. He enjoys playing classical guitar, woodworking and catching up on the latest tech, business and finance news!

Yazan Qwasmi

Yazan is a grade 11 student completing his first year of IB at white oaks. He has shown a passion in computers from a young age and has a variety of skills in the area from ML to IoT. Rori Sa

Team Lead

Rori is a first year student at McGill University looking to major in Microbiology & Immunology. In her spare time, she can be found exploring new trails to go on runs, or trying out new recipes. With her interests in STEM, she wishes to help students find more opportunities in these fields through TU20, and she is excited to be the Chief Events Officer this year!

Markos is a grade 11 AP student at Waterloo C.I, with a passion for problem-solving. Markos is an avid reader and programmer that enjoys exploring interesting and new topics in the world of technology & software. Markos is currently a CS researcher at UW and a co-founder of Visionary. Markos is also a hackathon enthusiast, having won many prizes, as well as judging and mentoring many events.

Yifan Wang

Team Lead 

Yifan is a first-year Math/BBA student at the University of Waterloo. She is passionate about business and technology and hopes to specialize in statistics and finance. Outside of TU20, she invests time learning about UI/UX design and enjoys spending time outdoors. She is super excited to support the growth of the TU20 community this year!

Aahaan Maini

LDP 

Aahaan Maini is a leader and innovator who is passionate about emerging technologies and using them to solve real-world problems. He is attending grade 9 in the Gifted program at Oakville Trafalgar High School. He is part of dozens of extracurriculars including Soccer, Cross-Country and Track and Field Teams, Student Council President, STEM Club, Band and more. In his free time he loves to play sports like soccer and basketball, read, code as well as create and work on technology projects.

Shrena Sribalan

Shrena Sribalan is a driven, passionate and motivated Grade Nine student at Craig Kielburger Secondary School in the I.B. program. She has developed a passion for business, technology, social justice, as well as graphic design. For the past 10 years Shrena has been playing the piano and learning an indian classical dance form. In her spare time, she gives back to her community by teaching piano with OCOM, planning events with my town, bringing awareness to child hunger and lack of education as well as using social media to share COVID-19 updates.

Hargunpreet Kalra

LDP 

Hargunpreet is an ambitious and passionate student. She is currently a grade 9 student at Turner Fenton Secondary School and enrolled in the International Baccalaureate program. In the past, Hargunpreet has co-lead a student-run council in her middle school to help with mental health awareness and has volunteered with a non-profit organization called Competitive Kids STEM. Furthermore, Hargunpreet loves to explore topics such as the arts, writing, psychology, and other subjects in the STEM field.
